Sep 14, 2011 - Installing Designer Plug-Ins and Fixes Offline
We would like to share a utility with our customers to enable installing of Designer Plug-Ins and Fixes in an Offline mode. It is achieved by a special Software AG Eclipse package which deals with mirroring of secured update sites. With this, you could create a local mirror of the plugins and fixes you want to install and then let other users within that company access this local mirror. This means that they would not need an Empower account to download the plug-ins or the fixes.
Please see the document in the Downloads section so you can choose which option works best for you and download the relevant archive out of the four that are available. The pdf document (Offline_Install_of_Plug-ins.pdf) and archives can be found here

Aug 31, 2011 - Software AG Designer 8.2: Installing Plug-Ins from the Designer Update Site
We recently launched the new Software AG Designer Update site for installing plug-ins and updates in Designer 8.2. It allows you to install or update features from within Designer, using the standard Eclipse user interface. To use the update site, you need a Designer installation, which you get through the Software AG installer, Internet access to Empower, and an Empower user account.
Please check out the demonstration on how to use the Update Site and learn how to install plug-ins and get answers to common questions to get a better understanding of using the Update site. Here is the link to the demo: http://communities.softwareag.com/ecosystem/communities/public/Developer/webmethods/products/suite/demos/installing-plug-ins-update-site.html

Sep 23, 2009 - webMethods PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Adapter
Dear Customers,
The Software AG Product Management and Marketing team is currently in the process of reviewing and making changes to the webMethods Peoplesoft EnterpriseOne Adapter.
The webMethods PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Adapter is a product that is developed and maintained by Oracle. Oracle recently revised their strategy for this product and has announced plans to end standard support in October, 2010 and provide sustenance support beyond that without any end date set. During the standard support phase, the existing customers will get new patches, fixes and upgrades. However, during the sustenance support phase, there will not be any new fixes or patches but the customers will still be supported with the existing fixes
Consequently, the End of Maintenance (EOM) date for webMethods Peoplesoft EnterpriseOne Adapter has been set to October, 2010. The End of Support (EOS) date is currently being reviewed and it will be communicated in the near future.
The review process will mainly deal with the aim to retire the product webMethods Peoplesoft EnterpriseOne Adapter. Meanwhile, Software AG is also in the process of finding an alternate way to integrate with Peoplesoft EntepriseOne.
As always, the PMM team is interested in receiving any related input to this subject from the field. Please direct your comments also to Suryanarayanan.Nagarajan@softwareag.com
