The XML Starter Kit
Software AG is offering the fourth edition (Version 4) of its XML Starter Kit, including a free 30 day trial version of its award winning Tamino XML Server

The XML Starter Kit includes an evaluation version of the Tamino XML Server 4.4  as well as a broad array of information about XML technology, with a comprehensive XML Education Library and various Web casts covering XML and Web services.

The new version is based on Tamino XML Server v4.4, replacing version v4.2 for better XQuery handling, full XML Schema compliance and an integrated WebDAV Server and versioning capabilities. This new WebDAV server enables the smooth integration of Tamino into the “Office” world, for example as Google Desktop Search-able database for non-XML (e.g. Office) and XML content.

New Japanese language kit ready now!

The newest download kit available also contains a Japanese language package running in parallel to the standard (english) UI, documentation and error message format. Just refer to the Readme.txt file, section 5.3 (end of the document), where you will find a link to the install-ja.txt document, written in Japanese language.
