The screen shot below shows the configuration of LCM Stages in the user interface.
LCM Registry Help
A Lifecycle Registry requires that a two level category scheme be available in the registry, one category of Stage and one or more sub-categories of State for that Stage. The Stage category will reside under the Classification scheme 'LifecycleStates', the State categories will reside under the Stage category.
Additional Usage Notes
This Item editor will maintain the Stage and State relationships in the GUI, upon pressing the 'Save' button, the Stage/State relationships in the GUI will then replace the existing set (delete and save).
You may rename the Lifecycle Registry name, and the Stage name. Deleting the Lifecycle Registry will not delete the Stage/State relationship as this must be done manually.
Adding States
Once a Lifecycle Registry has been added, you can add 'state' categories for the stage. Enter the name of the state and press the 'Add' button.
Deleting States
Select the state from the list and press 'Delete selected state' button.
Initial State
All stages must have an InitialState association. Select the 'Initial state' for stage from the pulldown.
Setting NextState Association
Select a state from the list, all other states will be listed in the 'Available states' list. Next select a state from the 'Available states' list and press the '>' arrow to move it to the Next state list.
A state may have a NextState association with the IntialState state of the Next Stage, as this is available for selection once the Next Stage is selected from the pulldown.
At least one state must have a 'Next' association. To do this, select a state from the 'Next State' list, and press the '>' button to move it the 'Logical next state' field.
